भारतीय डाक कर्मचारी संघ के सेक्रेटेरी जनरल संतोष सिंह ने संचार मंत्री रविशंकर प्रसाद को पत्र लिखकर कोरोना जैसी भयंकर बीमारी एवं लॉकडाउन के दौरान जन सेवा में तत्पर डाककर्मचारियों के लिए 50 लाख बीमा कवर की माँग की है। उन्होंने कहा कि आज डाक कर्मचारी लोगों को Stay होम के लिए प्रेरित कर रहा है, और उनकी सभी आवश्यकताओं की पूर्ति एवं उन्हें उनके घर पहुँचाने का काम स्वयं कर रहा है। अपने पत्र में उन्होंने अपने पत्र में डाक कर्मचारियों को तत्काल 50 लाख की बीमा सुविधा उपलब्ध करवाने की माँग की है।
