Infosys and hsi NCR Engineers Team has reported to ATM Team that ATM parts like keypad, card readers etc are getting damaged due to disinfectant spray / improper sanitization done at ATM locations.
Ensure that disinfectant spray should not be sprayed on ATM machines. It should be done only around/inside the ATM room *excluding ATM Machine*. ATM Machine keypad area should be cleaned using soft cloth (sanitized cloth). Sanitizer or any other disinfectant should not be sprayed/poured on any part of the ATM machine. This is leading to damage of spares/parts of ATMs.
So the NCR has issued ATM Hardware cleaning Guideline For ATM Machines
